A heartbeat, a breath – both are miraculous aspects of life that most people take for granted. Yet, a sudden change in either of these physical functions can potentially cause serious complications or even be the difference between life and death.

Please join me and other fellow employees in participating in our 2018 Annual Employee Giving Campaign with a donation to help purchase a patient bedside monitoring and notification system called Masimo. It’s the type of technology that will save patients’ lives, and may one day save your life or the life of a loved one.

Masimo will give our nurses “an extra set of eyes and ears” on patients at all times. Your gift will help bring the Masimo system to our Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Units where patients will be monitored 24 hours per day. Masimo’s remote notification technology will ensure our staff can attend to patients faster, thus saving lives, improving outcomes and shortening hospital stays. You can help make this important patient safety initiative a reality.

Did you know Cheshire Medical Center will be one of only two hospitals in New Hampshire to have this technology?  Dartmouth-Hitchcock is using Masimo and their nurses enthusiastically state, “Without a doubt, Masimo has helped save lives.”

 

Campaign details:

The Employee Giving Brochures are being distributed by the Leadership Team. If you have not received one please see your manager or use the attached copy for your convenience.

Please use the form in the brochure to make your gift and forward it in a confidential inter-office envelope directed to Jim Boden, Development Office.

Employees are encouraged to participate via a payroll deduction; it’s an easy way to Give!

$2 for 26 paychecks = $52
$5 for 26 paychecks = $130
$10 for 26 paychecks = $260
$20 for 26 paychecks = $520

 

Key Dates to note:

Payroll deduction forms should be turned into the Development Office by December 21st to begin deductions with the first paycheck of 2018.

All donation forms need to be turned into the Development Office by December 21st to be entered in the raffle drawing.

Gifts made after this date and before June 30 will still be gratefully accepted and recognized as contributions in the 2018 Fiscal Year.

All participating employees are entered in our raffle prize drawing that will take place on December 22, 2017 and you could win:

  • 1-Hour Massage / 3 prizes
  • VIP Parking – 1 winner per quarter / 4 prizes
  • $20 Café Card / 20 prizes
  • Fitbit Tracker / 2 prizes
  • Camelbak Water Bottle / 2 prizes
  • Yoga Classes – 1 prize

Firsttime donors and those increasing their gift receive TWO entries into the raffle drawing.

With a gift of $260 or more, you will receive free coffee at the Art Nichols Café for 6 months starting July 2018.
